I stumbled across Heart Rate Monitors and GPS systems for runners!
Wow, what a training aid to automatically know mile splits and be able to stay within preplanned heartrate ranges.
Amazing what it can do. Based on reviews the only drawbacks I heard of are:
1. Altitude not correct most of the time.
2. Calories not computed correctly
3. Replacing the rechargeable battery requires returning it to Garmin
I will have to see if I can get one.
